No, print isn’t dead!

Print remains an excellent and highly-effective complement to any online initiative. It is still vital to communicating with your audiences in many form -- and especially to those who remain deeply committed to networking and selling through conferences, tradeshows and face-to-face meetings (all of us!)

Most sales professionals still want a ‘leave-behind’ with a strong call to action. We are a tactile people; seeing, feeling and touching paper, with the impact of color, photos and stories is a strategic tool in your marketing toolkit.

Some print options to consider include: business cards, sell sheets, datasheets, posters, postcards, magazine ads, door hangars, bookmarks, mailers and media kits.

“Lori and her team have greatly increased the quality of Vanner's marketing. She has brought fresh new ideas and has opened our eyes in regard to the many different ways we are able to market our company. We have gone from running fairly uncreative ads in trade magazines to issuing press releases, e-mail blasts, publishing articles about our technology and producing videos about the company. Lori and her team have greatly improved our image and presentation to the markets we serve.”

Client Work: Print

Client: Vanner

WI Challenge: Vanner had no internal marketing support for their sales team. They wanted to continue to focus on traditional marketing and print initiatives for tradeshows. They came to Written Impact for print marketing and PR assistance in five different markets and to support the marketing efforts of their savvy sales tesam.

Solution: We learned about their products and technology and zeroed in on their powerful value proposition in each market. With market leadership as high as 85% in some markets, their story was solid and well received. We have rebranded the print and online collateral as they moved into hybrid and military markets. We created a beautiful full-color catalog for their more than 50 products — plus datasheets, postcards and posters to assist them at tradeshows. We also developed the messaging and graphics for two tradeshow booths and several animated product videos. We moved into digital marketing with a new WordPress website, e-blasts, blogging and social media. Vanner was honored as the TechColumbus Green Innovation Award recipient in 2011.
