“Julie guided the leadership of Catholic Youth Summer Camp to create and conduct its first fundraising event. The Dinner Theater was the most entertaining fundraising event I have ever attended. It mirrored the mission of CYSC as a High Adventure Camp was a huge success. I look forward to Julie's continued involvement in the growth of CYSC.”

Client Work: Events

Client: CYSC

Plan and promote a first-time event to raise money and awareness for a 10-year-old non-profit organization; no alcohol, limited budget and lack of a following for this event since it was in its first year.

Solution: This event had 225 attendees and with monthly pledges raised more than was expected for CYSC ministries. The event was planned with a lot of volunteer help and a limited budget. The ROI was 503%! The strategy for this event was to stay true to the high energy youthful branding of CYSC by creating an event that had a lot of youth participation. It was a Dinner Theatre with skits performed by the youth during the dinner. We used creativity in decorating and food to make it classy and stay on budget. With no alcohol on Sundays, we used humor and drama to make fun of this and came up with inventive names for our Faux bar drinks. The feedback was very positive.
